**What you’ll do**
- We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and service-oriented People & Culture (P&C) Administrator to join our extraordinary team. We have recently embarked on a bold new strategic plan and are looking to jolt our culture and people experience to life in new and innovative ways. As the P&C Administrator, you are often the face of the P&C team and will play an important role in supporting this aspirational vision. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will build strong relationships and provide exceptional service to our people, maintain and support our people programs, and keep our small but mighty team organized
- More specifically, you will take a lead role in:

- **HR & Benefits Administration**:Timely and accurate processing of all employment related changes in our HRIS, PeopleSoft and other relevant systems. Administer employee benefits, including extended health benefits, MSP and pension. Complete regular audits and reviews of data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare employee letters and correspondence as needed, including offer letters, employee status change letters. Act as a backup to our timekeeper.
- **Onboarding & Orientation**:Support our exceptional onboarding program by preparing individualized orientation plans for new team members, leading first day orientation meetings, coordinating and facilitating our orientation classroom sessions, and providing support and assistance to new team members when needed.
- **People & Culture Program Support**:Provide support on a variety of P&C team projects and programs, including recruitment, recognition, employee engagement, annual compensation activities, health + safety and wellness. Act as the P&C lead for the Fun Committee and participate and support the committee throughout the year.

- In addition, you also bring:

- Thorough knowledge of all required human resource legislation including but not limited to the BC Employment Standards Act, WorkSafe BC and Human Rights.
- Knowledge of general payroll and benefit processes.
- Superior written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with discretion.
- The ability to be proactive and take initiative.
- Ability to develop and monitor project timelines and meet deadlines.
- Ability to be flexible and anticipate changes ahead of time.
- The ability to work within a team environment but also to work autonomously.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
- Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite of products and database management. Experience using an HRIS or other databases is an asset.

Given the strong service nature of this Administrator role, you can expect to be onsite in our office at least two days per week.
