Our Procurement and Program Management division provides professional support and commercial advice to all parts of the organization through the services it provides, including procurement, data analytics, budgeting, and performance management. The Procurement office is a global leader among public sector entities in the procurement of large capital infrastructure projects. The Program Management office ensures consistency and synergy among the capital project cost estimation, budgeting and financial forecasting, quality, process control, continuous improvement, compliance and governance, reporting and analytics functions across the enterprise.

**What You Will Do**:

- Provide expertise and due diligence in the procurement and management of heritage projects (including but is not limited to the following work streams: cultural heritage including built heritage and cultural heritage landscapes, archaeology, and Indigenous engagement) across Infrastructure Ontario (IO)’s portfolio
- Provide strategic heritage advice as it relates to high priority projects,
- Effectively manage heritage risk and liability to benefit project outcomes
- Ensure the Province’s interest and accountability with respect to heritage due diligence and project delivery.

**Who We're Looking For**:

- University degree in heritage studies, archaeology, planning, environmental science, or related field or several years of related experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies including: Ontario Heritage Act, MTCS Standards and Guidelines for Provincial Heritage Properties/Consultant Archaeologists, and heritage reporting including Stage 1-4 Archaeological Assessments, Cultural Heritage Evaluations, Heritage Impact Assessments, and Strategic Conservation Plans
- Sound knowledge of diverse heritage activities, issues, and mitigation measures relevant to property management and/or transaction processes
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, analytical, interpretive, and project coordination skills
- Employment is conditional upon obtaining security clearance through the Program & Policy Enablement Branch, Supply Chain Ontario of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
