**The Opportunity: Manager of Public Education and Community Engagement Unit**
As the Manager of the Public Education and Community Engagement Unit, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team responsible for various public programs that showcase Ontario's heritage. These programs include Doors Open Ontario, the Lieutenant Governor's Heritage Awards, Heritage Week, Provincial Plaques, the Trust's museums and sites - such as Josiah Henson Museum of African-Canadian History, Fulford Place, and the Doris McCarthy Artist in Residence Centre - along with its cultural collections.

As an innovative and collaborative leader, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing program delivery strategies and frameworks for the conservation and preservation of Ontario's heritage. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can take initiative and provide strong leadership in engaging with communities and stakeholders.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this meaningful management role, you will:

- Lead the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of program delivery strategies for the conservation and preservation of Ontario Heritage Trust programs and sites.
- Manage and lead a multi-disciplinary project team to support the organization's business plans.
- Work with diverse communities to develop and implement initiatives that promote the preservation and interpretation of Ontario's heritage.
- Provide advice and program planning and management expertise to the organization senior management on program decisions and directions.
- Lead projects to research, analyze, and develop business change management options/proposals and

strategies to maximize the effectiveness of programs and service delivery.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with communities, partners and stakeholders.
