Accomplir des tâches techniques entourant le traitement et le dédouanement des envois d’après les lois et d’après les règlements de l’ACSF et des autres ministères du gouvernement (AGM). Aider et renseigner les clients qui s’informent sur les envois internationaux. Vérifier et rajuster les manifestes d’expédition internationale en conformité avec les règlements et les exigences de l’ASFC pour assurer l’admissibilité jusqu’au dédouanement et à la mainlevée.

Educational Requirements

Post Secondary:

- Community College Diploma/ Equivalent Professional accreditation/certification:

- Certified Canadian Customs Specialist (CCS) designation or CSCB Qualified.

Related Experience RequirementsOther specific mandatory experience requirements
- Certified Canadian Customs Specialist (CCS) designation or CSCB Qualified required. Must achieve annual re-currency points.
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person
- In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (English and French).

Technical Skill Requirements

Solid knowledge of the following:

- Knowledge of FedEx Express operations and international customs documentation and regulations an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of CCII required
- Must have knowledge of Other Government Department (OGD) requirements
- Knowledge of 023 clearance system preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Express International package movement, GTS operating procedures and regulatory requirements
- Thorough knowledge of VISA and COSMOS systems
- Maintain current with all CBSA and OGD regulations.

Computer literacy and proficiency:

- Excel — Basic
- Minimum of 25 wpm on data entry alpha numeric testing preferred

CONNAISSANCES, COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES REQUISES

Formation

- Spécialiste certifié des douanes canadiennes (SCD) ou qualifié par la SCCD

Expérience

Autre expérience obligatoire.
- Spécialiste certifié des douanes canadiennes (SCD) ou qualifié par la SCCD. Doit accumuler un minimum annuel d’unités de formation continue.
- Pouvoir soulever seul les colis de 70 lb et moins, et manoeuvrer ceux allant jusqu’à 150 lb avec un appareil ou avec de l’aide.

Compétences techniques

Solide connaissance de ce qui suit:

- Il est souhaitable de connaître le fonctionnement de Federal Express de même que les documents et règlements de douane.
- Connaissance démontrée du système CCII.
- Connaître les exigences d’autres ministères du gouvernement (AMG)
- Il est souhaitable de connaître le système de dédouanement 023.
- Connaître à fond le système de transport international de Federal Express, les procédures du Service des douanes et la réglementation.
- Connaître à fond les systèmes Visa et COSMOS.
- Se tenir au courant de tous les règlements de l’ASFC et des autres ministères.

Connaissances en informatique:

- Excel - de baseMinimum de 25 mots/ minute sur les tests alphanumériques de saisie de données préférés
