Job Description:
Position Overview

This position is responsible for basic accounting administration which includes posting, balancing and closing activities within accounting systems. Responsibilities include internal and/or external customer service in the processing of AP/AR transactions and resolution of discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
- Post transactions in accounting system
- Assist with closing processes
- Balance and reconcile sheets
- Verify, research and resolve discrepancies
- Perform accounts payable and/or receivable activities that could include processing of customer tickets, preparation or processing of invoices
- Provide quality service to internal and external customers that is tactful and knowledgeable

What is expected of you and others at this level
- Acquire basic skills to perform routine tasks
- Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
- Works with either close supervision, or under clearly defined procedures

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 0-2 years’ relevant experience required
