**Required Education and Background**:

- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a relevant social service field (ex. Psychology, Social Service Worker, Community Justice Worker, etc.; _Equivalent experience and skills will also be considered._
- Experience in casework, case management, or related fields, preferably in a social service setting.
- Experience in a supervision role and comfortability providing constructive feedback and coaching, ensuring adherence to policy, procedures, and program timelines.
- Preferred: Familiarity with specialized approaches for supporting clients with complex needs, such as mental health, developmental disabilities, and trauma.
- Preferred: Familiarity and experience working with the Adult Criminal Justice System.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and adapt to changing workloads and priorities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Proficiency in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Understanding of human behavior, behavioral change models, and risk assessment principles.
- Charisma and a positive attitude towards challenging situations and individuals.
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with community stakeholders, partners, or members.
- Experience using standardized tools for completing assessments and developing case plans
- A strong commitment to supporting all residents, as well as their families and natural supports in being a part of their transition plan
- Excellent people skills to facilitate relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, program partners and community members
- A willingness to work in collaboration with a wide variety of community partners, agencies and emergency services
