- Workforce Planning & Analytics has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Consultant. We are looking for someone with a well-honed HR consulting practice, an innate curiosity and interest to understand the story behind the numbers (data) and an interest in co-leading corporate talent management programs.

Using a continuous improvement approach, you will collaborate with our small team, key enabling partners, and business leaders to deliver an evidence based consultative service to help shape and grow all aspects of workforce planning and analytics at The City. Primary duties include:

- Conduct consultations with key partners and business leaders.
- Co-lead the delivery of the corporate performance development and succession management programs, including supporting the planning, execution, advancement, and measuring outcomes of these annual talent programs.
- Co-lead Labour Action Business Continuity (LABC) program including coordinating the corporate LABC Coordinators network. Ensure completeness of business plans and acting as the HR Business Continuity Coordinator to ensure HR¿s preparedness for business disruption or emergencies.

**Qualifications**
- A degree in Business, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or related field plus at least 5 years of directly related experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- A strong consulting background, experience in workforce planning and leading corporate programs.
- Exceptional report writing and presentation skills and an interest to understand the story behind the numbers (data).
- A demonstrated experience in project management.
- A natural collaborator with strong business acumen; a continuous improvement and customer service mindset; strong interpersonal, facilitation, research, and analytical skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) is required.
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) or an equivalent Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Power BI and Business Intelligence Reporting will be given preference.
