The Research Associate will be involved in various clinical research activities in the area of psychosocial oncology. Specifically, the Research Associate will work with Dr. Baydoun on literature reviews, intervention design and development, research design, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, stakeholder engagement, and dissemination of findings (e.g., contributing to peer-reviewed manuscripts and community and conference presentations).

Position Requirements

a) A Master’s in nursing, psychology, or another health field, a BA or BS with relevant research experience may be considered.

b) Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong interpersonal and time management skills are required

d) Experience conducting research (e.g., literature reviews, interviews, surveys, research ethics, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, dissemination of findings).

e) Record of research productivity (e.g., publications, reports, conference presentations).

f) Must able to work autonomously and take a lead on a project under supervision.

g) Must be able to organize work to meet project deadlines.

i) Strong interpersonal and time management skills are crucial for effective collaboration and meeting project deadlines.

k) Clinical knowledge and/or training in working with clients with mental health concerns and internet interventions is an asset.

Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 5791 Research Salary Range $66,660.75-$76,820.25 annually Status Term Work Hours
