The Public Safety Personnel Internet-delivered Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (PSPNET) team is located at the University of Regina and part of the Canadian Institute of Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) funded by Public Safety Canada. The PSPNET team is led by Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos, one of Canada’s foremost leaders on ICBT. The team consists of both clinicians and researchers who are developing, implementing and evaluating ICBT to help current and former public safety personnel (PSP) to improve their mental health and wellbeing. ICBT typically begins with an online and telephone screening. ICBT itself involves patients reviewing psychoeducational materials over the internet and therapists providing support and directing therapeutic activities via secure messaging and phone calls.

PSPNET is looking for a bilingual (French and English) Research Associate. The individual will work with the PSPNET team and will be involved in various educational and research activities associated with PSPNET.

The individual(s) will participate in any of these following activities:
a) Focus on French data collection from the PSPNET platform, data analysis and synthesis and subsequent improvements to PSPNET programming in French. They will support all of the work of the project including working groups, creation and improvement of materials, working alongside instructional designers and the clinical team.

c) French research synthesis, data analysis and interpretation. Preparing presentations and publications as well as lay summaries, videos and social media posts and other related responsibilities.

d) assisting with grant and contract development;

Supervision and training will be provided.Remote work is a possibility.

L’équipe de Thérapie cognitive comportementale sur Internet pour le personnel de la sécurité publique (PSPNET) est située à l’Université de Regina et fait partie de l’Institut canadien de recherche et de traitement en sécurité publique (ICRTSP), financé par Sécurité publique Canada. L’équipe PSPNET est dirigée par la Dre Heather Hadjistavropoulos, l’une des principales expertes de la TCCI au Canada. L’équipe se compose de cliniciens et de chercheurs qui développent, mettent en œuvre et évaluent la TCCI pour aider le personnel de la sécurité publique (PSP) actuel et ancien à améliorer leur santé mentale et leur bien-être. La TCCI commence généralement par un dépistage en ligne et par téléphone. Dans le cadre de la TCCI, les patients consultent des documents psychoéducatifs sur Internet et les thérapeutes leur apportent leur soutien et dirigent les activités thérapeutiques par le biais d’une messagerie sécurisée et d’appels téléphoniques.

PSPNET est à la recherche d’un(e) associé(e) de recherche bilingue (français et anglais) qui travaillera avec l’équipe PSPNET et sera impliquée dans diverses activités éducatives et de recherche associées à PSPNET.

La/les personne(s) sélectionnée(s) participera/ront aux missions suivantes:
a) Collecte de données en français à partir de la plateforme PSPNET, analyse et synthèse de ces données, et améliorations subséquentes à la programmation PSPNET en français. Soutien à l’ensemble du travail du projet, y compris aux groupes de travail, à la création et à l’amélioration du matériel, en collaboration avec des concepteurs pédagogiques et l’équipe clinique.

c) Synthèse de la recherche en français, analyse des données et interprétation. Préparation de présentations et de publications ainsi que de résumés accessibles, de vidéos, de publications sur les réseaux sociaux et autres responsabilités connexes.

d) Assister à l’élaboration de subventions et de contrats ;
e) Traduction du matériel des démarches ou révision de documents traduits (par exemple, démarches, matériel promotionnel, contenu sponsorisé, etc.) f) Suivi avec des clients francophones par courriel ou par téléphone g) Soutien aux activités de transfert de connaissances et de sensibilisation (médias sociaux, travail sur du contenu partenaire, participation à des balados, entrevues à la radio, rédaction d’articles pour des infolettres francophones dédiées au PSP). h) Diriger des étudiants diplômés et d’autres membres du personnel dans des analyses secondaires et des tâches de recherche.

Une formation seront assurée et le travail sera supervisé. Il est possible de travailler à distance.
