LCI Language School (LCILS) is an award-winning language school located in Montreal and Vancouver. It is Canadian-owned and operated, providing quality and professional English, French and other language classes for students from more than 95 countries, connecting each and every one to the world with new language capabilities.
The Sales Manager (Montreal) is responsible for the enrollment objectives of the LCI Language School in Montreal. Reporting to the President of Western Canada and Asia-Pacific, the Sales Manager is responsible for developing and operationalizing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies, taking into account:
- Identification and penetration of the target market, competition;
- Country-specific and global opportunities;
- Targeted messaging and aligned tactics such as: pricing, advertising, promotions and events, which support the delivery of student recruitment activities within LCILS.
The objectives of this role are aligned with those of Vancouver and with the strategy and systems of our Global Sales department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop an agile and creative plan to increase language school enrollment. The Montreal campus will be a key target for growth strategies from the beginning of this mandate (academic pathway in French, language training in companies, summer programs);
- Establish strong business relationships with agencies and negotiate all major contracts (in collaboration with the Global Admissions Team);
- Represent the school at major events and with VIP agents, both nationally and internationally, to develop relationships and increase enrollment from diverse countries;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve LCILS' processes and brand positioning, both domestically and internationally;
- Develop country-specific indicators to achieve and monitor performance on an ongoing basis. Maintain records to follow up and follow up on potential leads;
- Ensure that all sales staff operate with exemplary sales and relationship development techniques;
- Maintain an understanding of competitive offerings and the marketplace to recommend the revision of program offerings and the launch of new ones;
- Guide and direct social media campaigns for the language school;
- Design, develop and maintain details on pricing and promotions.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- University degree in Marketing, Sales or Business, complemented by relevant and significant professional experience in a related field;
- Previous experience in a growth-oriented sales environment with a proven track record of success;
- Understanding of global markets (in the language school sector is an asset);
- Demonstrated leadership ability;
- Ability to work independently and effectively, under pressure and without supervision;
- Experience with a CRM.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends to attend events or communicate with people in different time zones.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role.
