**RAB Design Lighting - Program Manager**

**Role of the Program Manager**:
The Program Manager will exhibit strong leadership skills to deliver projects successfully. Integrity, a positive attitude, a shared vision with the leadership team, impressive interpersonal communication skills, and proven team building skills are a few core competencies needed to motivate and inspire teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Program Management**:

- Manages the execution of all NPD projects and several strategic projects at the organization level from start to finish, ensuring the complete scope, delivery, meeting timelines, cost, and quality targets.
- Fully grasps the project goals/objective, product business case, product technical scope, and key customer requirements and create a comprehensive project plan outlining the tasks, timelines and resources required.
- Creates project charter to formally take sign off from project sponsor and key stakeholders ensuring alignment.
- Builds WBS to meet project needs.
- Manage project communication, ensuring coordination, collaboration, clarity regarding roles/responsibilities, and transparence.
- Highly skilled communicator with the project team, and other stakeholders. Expert in using different forms of communication based on the situation.
- Identifies all the stakeholders impacted by the project and has a solid management plan to guarantee alignment, and support. Always involves the right stakeholders at the right time and looks after their expectations and perspectives leading towards their buy-in to ensure the project’s success.
- Always has a risk management plan in place. Identifies risks early in the project to minimize any surprises and does more accurate project forecasts.
- Independently manages any change impacting the project. Has a systematic approach to deal with changes with the goal to help the team and project adapt to change successfully.
- Builds interactive project sheets, dashboards, and integrated process workflows for efficient and flawless management of projects on RAB Design’s PM tool.
- Sets up a system/process to maintain project sheets and keep them fully updated providing visibility to project team on different work packages and tasks.
- Monitor and track to ensure all aspects of the projects are kept on track.
- Sponsors periodic status updates, and phase gate meetings covering every project to keep senior leadership and cross functional team informed of the critical path, issues, possible solutions and potential risks/mitigation plans.
- Formally closes the project after reviewing project performance, securing project documents, recording lessons learned, and providing necessary feedback to all concerned stakeholders.

**Continuous Improvement**:
Improves existing project management processes and implements new processes to address process gaps.
- Conducts regular training sessions for different teams on project management processes and tools to ensure continuous learning of different teams.
- Creates templates for critical deliverables to ensure consistency.
- Helps in conducting team building sessions to foster collaborative work environment.

**Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes**:

- Has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
- 7+ years of formal project management experience in a cross-functional team environment working on new product development.
- Has a formal Project Management education. Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is preferred.
- Possess exceptional abilities in project management tools, and knowledgeable in latest project management practices.
- Is familiar with working on ERP.
- Is proficient in using Microsoft Applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Has proven leadership and team development capabilities.
- Exceptional presentation, and report writing.
- Has prior successful experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Is pro-active and result-oriented with excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
