Primetime Custom, a Kingston-based custom apparel and promotional products supplier, is looking for a full-time embroidery machine operator to join our growing and experienced têxtile embroidery department.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be motivated, attentive to detail, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-based environment. We create a diverse array of designs for a wide range of clients, and no two days here are ever the same.

Above all, we take pride in the quality and craft of the embroidery we produce. This position will be ideal for someone with a creative background and a drive to make things - and who doesn’t see themselves sitting in front of a computer for the rest of their career.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Using computer-controlled embroidery equipment to produce orders of custom embroidered apparel, taking responsibility for accuracy, quality-control, and completion by deadline.
- Unpacking, loading and moving blank goods.
- Reading and processing work orders and production documents which contain written and graphic instructions.
- Counting, sorting, folding and packaging finished goods, and preparing shipments for local and out-of-town couriers.
- Maintaining equipment by following maintenance schedules and documented procedures.

**Additional skills**
- Experience in an industrial or production-oriented environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Energetic, and able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good document-reading and numeracy skills.
- Self-motivated, with a very strong work ethic. Able to work with mínimal direct supervision.
- Experience in a graphic or design-related environment would be an asset, but is not required.
- Prior embroidery experience would be an asset, but is not required.

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
