**Packaging Operator**

Nature of Work

This unit group includes person who perform material handling stone & sand, production, packaging, clean-up and other elemental activities in process of manufacturing products.

Main Duties

Person in this unit group perform some or all the following duties:

- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
- Check and weigh materials and products
- Sort and package materials and products
- Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
- Clean work areas and equipment
- Perform other labouring and elemental activities
- Know and understand the Employee Responsibility to Health & Safety (section 28 (1-3) OHSA)
- Work in compliance with the provision of the Health & Safety Policy and the Policy & Procedure of the company
- Year-round position

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
