**Job Summary**:

- The CNC operator's work involves processing materials through acts such as bending. By translating the company's vision into tangible metal equipment, the CNC operator must be an analytical individual who has a strong attention to detail._
- You will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts specific to engineering drawings and client standards._

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Proven experience as CNC machine operator.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
- Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company and safety rules and legislation.
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
- Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
- Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs as needed.
- Change tools, inserts, and adjust offsets as required to maintain tolerances.
- Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
- Safely produce quality parts on schedule.
- Check own parts against drawings in various stages of production.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage.
- 3 -5 years’ experience as a CNC machine operator.
- Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
- Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
