Human Resources Technician

Following an internal reorganization, our HR team is expanding and we are looking for a new Human Resources Technician to join our growing company in a fast-paced industry
The role of a Human Resources Technician is, among other things, to act as a resource person for employees and managers on general human resources issues, to administer certain HR programs, to ensure the integrity of data entered into the HRIS, to follow up on various files and to actively participate in the process of welcoming and integrating new employees.
**More specifically, your main tasks will be**:
- A manager or employee contacts you with questions about working conditions, insurance programs or internal policies and procedures in their division.
- You receive information about the hiring of a new resource or about a change to be made in an employee's profile and you must proceed with the computerization in the ADP - Work Force Now system.
- Analyze an existing HR process and/or procedure in order to recommend improvements to optimize our processes.
- Work closely with the payroll department to ensure optimal management of all employee files.
- Participate and ensure the necessary follow-ups in several other diversified files, such as the reception and integration of new employees, the management of employee benefits (enrolment, update, renewal), training, absence management (disability, maternity leave, etc.), salary increases and performance evaluations.
- Support the Talent Acquisition team as needed
**Requirements**:
- Have a college diploma, university certificate or other related training in human resources management.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in human resources management.
- Experience working with an HRIS (knowledge of ADP-WorkForceNow is an important asset).
- Bilingualism (French and English) both written and oral.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
