The Finance Business Partner is a strategic finance professional who works closely with business units to help them make informed business decisions. Providing insights and analysis that help businesses understand their financial situations, identify opportunities and risks, and make sound decisions about allocating resources.
Supporting the business in identifying, creating and delivering key growth and EPS accretive opportunities whilst balancing commercial risk and exposure.
**Job Description**:
- Drive business engagement with monthly reviews covering financial performance for the relevant areas of the business (both P&L and balance sheet). Proactively highlight and summarize insights into potential improvements/risk in addition to building the commercial mindset of the business.
- Delivery of the overall financial performance of your responsible business including the achievement of revenue, profit and expense budgets on a monthly / quarterly /annual basis.
- Meet financial reporting responsibilities ensuring results, budgets and forecasts are robust, appropriate and auditable. Responsible for ensuring that all major contracts are commercially reviewed, and relevant risks identified.
- Preparation and on time delivery of Executive Committee/Board management reporting, combining variance explanation and insights
- Develop strong influencing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure maximization of commercial impact of relationships. Leading and encouraging collaboration between cross functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide governance and support to sales and operational development plans / teams / projects, ensuring actions are in place to deliver growth whilst robustly managing gross margin and cost control.
- Lead the development of alternative commercially viable propositions to stimulate profitable growth, drive operational efficiencies, effectively manage assets and increase annual Free Cash Flow
- Ensure clear and defined processes to manage end to end ownership of customer deals/contracts.
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring the teams to improve employee engagement as well as future talent development and succession planning.

Education & Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Finance Accounting designation
- Minimum 5 to 7 years related experience.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and supervisory experience.
- 3-5 years in Business partnering roles
