**The Role**:
We are currently searching for a **Finance Intern** reporting to the Manager, Financial Accounting and Reporting. This is a** Full-time, 4 Month Contract** opportunity. This position will aid in reconciliations and provide assistance to the team throughout the summer period.
**Location**:
Our Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON. We offer Remote/Hybrid Flex work with visits into the office on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function.
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Participate in the month-end close process
- Assist in the compilation of internal monthly reporting packages
- Maintain and update reconciliation logs
- Assist in reconciliation of various Liquor Board AR accounts including retrieval of POD’s and clearing of payment receipts
- Assist with brewer accounting activities as required
- Other related duties and projects as assigned
**Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:
**Education**:
- Completion of, or in progress of completing, a University or College Degree, with focus on Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
**Experience**:
- Previous experience working in Accounting and/or in an office setting considered an asset
- Experienced in ERP accounting systems such as SAP considered an asset
- Previous experienced with The Beer Store and/or BDL operations considered an asset
**Skills**:
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent levels of communication both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
