- As a Regional Vice President, Mortgage Specialists you are a BMO Brand Ambassador within the region you serve. As RVP you are at the centre of the home financing business outcomes within the region. Working collaboratively with both local and national (Specialized Sales) senior leadership teams you will play a key role optimizing sales and service strategies to drive results. At BMO, we are open for business and as RVP you will play a critical role in helping build our team as we look to expand our footprint within the region. You will lead a team of Vice President, Mortgage Specialists, helping them grow market share and sustainably build their teams. Our future is bright and you can play a significant role in helping us reach our ambitious goals.Cultivates, builds, and manages relationships with a third-party network of referral sources to build a pipeline of new mortgage business and increase BMO’s share of the home financing market. Actively identifies sales opportunities and refers to BMO colleagues as appropriate. Develops and executes effective marketing and sales programs to drive business results. Adheres to audit, regulatory, and compliance policies and follows all standard processes/procedures.

- Addresses customer service issues according to established parameters, escalating persistent or complex matters to more senior staff or other departments for resolution.
- Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor and makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders for making business decisions and implementing strategic initiatives.
- Develops an expert understanding of business/group challenges.
- Networks with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices.
- Recommends measures to improve organizational effectiveness.
- May consult to or serve on various committees and task forces.
- Manages resources and leads the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
- Develops the business case by identifying needs, analysing potential options and assessing expected return on investment.
- Recommends business priorities, advises on resource requirements, and develops roadmap for strategic execution.
- Acts as the prime contact for internal/external stakeholder relationships, which may include regulators.
- Defines business requirements for analytics and reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.
- Develops and applies the framework for databases; oversees database management in adherence with data governance standards.
- Collaborates across BMO to develop communications strategies and ensure consistency of messaging, in order to positively influence or change behaviour.
- Leads change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives.
- Leads the development of the communication strategy focusing on positively influencing or changing behaviour.
- Develops and/or leads major change initiatives in support of strategic business strategies over a 2-3-year time frame.
- Identifies performance enhancement opportunities to significantly improve employee productivity, reduce costs, and manage risks.
- Leads the execution of operational programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.
- Assesses and adapts existing operational programs; develops new capabilities to ensure ongoing success.
- Engages with third party realtors, lawyers, and related referral sources to create strong relationships that generate referrals for clients requiring real estate lending solutions.
- Sells real estate lending and insurance products and identifies and initiates cross-sell opportunities and referrals in the best interest of the customer.
