Job Summary
The Wohl Group is seeking a highly skilled Chief Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Landing Gear Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to lead a team of talented individuals and drive business growth.

About The Role
As Chief Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all activities at our site. You will work closely with the Vice President, Central Region, to ensure the highest levels of profitability, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery. Your exceptional leadership skills will enable you to motivate your team towards ambitious goals, while your analytical skills will help you solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement production plans in collaboration with the production team
* Ensure the effective use of materials and equipment
* Coordinate departmental activities and maintain open communication across the plant
* Evaluate performance against goals and implement improvement initiatives
* Manage the plant budget and analyze contracts for their impact on production
* Stay up-to-date with new machining technology and automation

Requirements
* Masters degree in Engineering
* 10+ years of experience in shop management (Machining is an asset)
* High level of accountability due to criticality of the product
* Ability to work under pressure and independently
