Vice President, Marketing

AutoIQ, a leading Automotive Dealership Group in Ontario, is looking for Vice President, Marketing to drive revenue through building and implementing effective marketing strategies that align to the organization’s overall strategic goals. This individual is a creative yet critical thinker, self-starter, has an ability to work with many stakeholders and lead a team.
Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the senior executive team, the VP, Marketing, will own the marketing plan for all locations, including development, execution, and measurement. The marketing leader will collaborate with store owners and other key stakeholders to ensure the plan is localized and meets both individual store and group wide objectives.

What You Will Do:
- Working with stakeholder teams to build, execute and measure annual and quarterly marketing programs and strategies that drive revenue growth and meet changing market and competitive conditions
- Working with agency partners and vendors to maximize ROI and ensure efforts are capitalizing on the latest opportunities and capabilities of all marketing channels
- Lead, coach and direct a team of marketing professionals that are passionate, dedicated and high achieving
- Lead the creation of content that will drive lead generation campaigns and maximize investment
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and make proactive suggestions for improvement
- Plan, monitor and manage marketing budgets and marketing expenses across the group
- Execution of monthly marketing plans which could include organic content, sales enablement, website graphics and landing pages, in-store promotion, e-blasts, organizing events/activities, print materials for events etc.
- Manage and monitor monthly budgets, evaluating performance to ensure funds are being allocated effectively, and maximize co-op ad spend for multiple brands
What You Bring to the Role:
- 10+ years marketing experience, min 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Automotive, or Business
- A creative, analytical, and data-driven mindset
- Proven track record of driving and accelerating sales growth through lead generation, customer engagement, and retention strategies
- Strong decision-making, critical thinking and leadership skills with the ability to organize, coordinate and execute multiple projects at the same time
- Capability and willingness to dive in and get things done, as well as provide vision
- Ability to stay focused on strategic objectives while balancing short term deliverables and changing priorities within a dynamic environment
- Ability to put together and measure an effective, comprehensive, and multi-channeled marketing campaign
- Ability to exert strong influence across the organization and be a voice of expertise while being highly collaborative
- Success will be highly dependent on the ability to earn the respect of others across the team and organization, drive revenue, harmonization, efficiency, and market opportunities
- Automotive industry experience preferred but not required
