Edmonton, Canada CMB Insurance Brokers Full time

As part of the Insurance Growth Network (IGN) you report directly to the VP of People, and will play a critical role in administrating the Human Resources functions of the brokerage, across all branches.

With your excellent oral and written communications, you act as an important representative of the company and its core values; welcoming new employees with respect, fostering long-term relationships and, working collaboratively among the leadership team and all employees.

**PROACTIVE ACTIONS**
- Use active communication and listening to hear all problems and overcome all obstacles
- Rely on your critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills so that you can quickly to address issues and prevent any problems from affecting the company
- You form trusting relationships with a positive attitude among your colleagues and teach the team to be efficient, productive, and effective.
- Move projects along with a sense of urgency, following all lead indicators
- Maintain confidentiality and always protect the company

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Managing and maintaining all personnel documents using the HUMI platform
- Create employee contracts and offers of employment
- Correspondence for all employee changes and events
- Administrate group benefits for eligible employees
- Track and recognize employee achievements
- Source prospective employees using digital platforms and schedule interviews
- Support the following Human Resource functions for employees: Recruiting, Onboarding, Discipline, Career Pathing, Offboarding
- Register employees for continuing education classes : IBAA, IIC, etc
- Support Learning & Development by assigning and tracking employee training
- Track and report on all continuing education costs by employee and branch
- Event planning for company events

**CMB TEAM SUPPORT**
- Attend department L10’s weekly
- Be familiar with and follow company policies and procedures as established (Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures, etc.)
- Attend and participate staff meetings and other company functions
- Demonstrate good leadership qualities with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others
- Other related duties as required

**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:

- 2+ years’ of Human Resources experience
- 2+ years’ experience with commercial insurance experience is an asset
- Project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills: a clear communicator with strong understanding of document management and confidentiality
- Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
- Microsoft Office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
