**About the position**

Reporting to the Human Resources (“HR”) Manager, the HR Generalist will provide a broad range of support to the team in Western Canada. This could include staffing, onboarding, talent management, compensation, learning and development, performance management, organizational development, change management, employee/labor relations, HRIS data entry/administration, reporting, and other special projects as assigned. They are responsible for ensuring Human Resources programs, processes, and systems runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

**What you’ll do**:

- Provide direction to employees to foster better communication and more proactive human resource management
- Ensuring the recruitment and onboarding of high-quality talent capable of supporting the needs of the business in conjunction with hiring managers and recruiter
- Provide full-service HR support in various lifecycle processes including managing tasks related to employee relations, labor relations, training, development, succession planning etc. as requested by HR Manager
- Manage new employee orientation process
- Promote, communicate and support HR programs; align strategies with organizational goals
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures adhere to applicable legislation
- Management of SAP and ADP platforms; other administrative duties as assigned
- Additional projects and responsibilities as required

**What we would like from you**:

- Certificate or diploma in Human Resources Management and a minimum of 3-5 years direct Human Resources responsibilities including experience with recruiting and employee relations in a dynamic business culture
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to build relationships based on respect, integrity and trust
- A working knowledge of ADP and SAP is preferred
- CHRP designation or working towards is an asset
