**Job Description & Responsibilities**:
As the Construction Coach, you will be the driving force behind project success, implementing our internal management procedures and ensuring seamless teamwork. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Providing technical management from project inception, using blueprints and architectural drawings, while strictly adhering to a progress schedule.
- Conducting daily site visits to review schedules, ensure contractor presence, and coordinate additional contractors from our approved list when required.
- Upholding a safe and organized job-site environment that reflects our commitment to safety and enhances community appearance.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and adhering to schedules using our management procedures and tools.
- Coordinating and supervising multiple job sites to ensure contractors work efficiently and ALWAYS maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Enforcing safety measures and collaborating with the Health and Safety Consultant on disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of residential construction to oversee the entire construction process.
- Ensuring smooth delivery of construction material shipments.
- Managing change orders and delay action reports, including negotiation, processing, and assessing their impact on cost and schedule.
- Strictly focusing on management tasks, without performing physical labor.
- Displaying a thorough understanding of safety regulations, construction practices, building codes, and legislation.
- Arranging inspections of completed work with the city or contractors as required and ensuring proof of passed inspections is accurately recorded in our management system.
- Supervising, guiding, and fostering seamless teamwork among the crew, which includes organizing weekend BBQs to promote camaraderie and address any issues that arise.
- Utilizing effective conflict resolution methods to resolve disputes.
- Identifying areas for increased efficiency and cost-saving measures through our strategic continuous improvement process.
- Providing regular schedule progress updates to management and promptly communicating any delays or issues with a corresponding delayed action report.
- Collaborating with the team through reporting and regular meetings to ensure a smooth project flow.
- Updating a simple daily, weekly, and monthly job journal by project.

**Qualifications**:
To excel in this role, the following qualifications are crucial:

- **Exceptional interpersonal and management skills, as they are the most important traits for this position.**
- Mandatory construction site training certifications (Fall Protection, PPE, WHMIS, etc.).
- First Aid Training & CPR certification.
- A valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Post-secondary education in a construction management training program or a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (an asset but not a requirement).
- Proven experience of 5-10 years as a construction site manager.

**Wages & Benefits**:
We offer a competitive annual compensation of up to $150,000 for this contractor role, with the possibility of a very attractive bonus scheme that substantially enhances the overall compensation. Additionally, we provide a company vehicle, phone, and other necessary tools for your use.

**Salary**: From $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
