**Job Title**: General Manager

**Location**: Fort Langley, BC.

**Job Summary**:
Smugglers Trail Caskworks Ltd is expanding into Fort Langley. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to join our team at our exciting new cafe taproom and bistro concept.

As the Restaurant General Manager you will have the opportunity to join an established and respected craft beer brand, lead and manage all aspects of the restaurant operations and lay the foundations for a new community social hub. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service driving revenue growth and creating a positive team culture this role is for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, taproom and bistro ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery and service model transitions.
- Create and implement strategies to achieve financial targets including revenue generation and cost control measures.
- Work closely with Smugglers Trail Management team and Board of Directors.
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business plans, budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by consistently delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Train, motivate and supervise a diverse team of restaurant staff including waitstaff, bartenders, kitchen staff and support personnel.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures consistent with those of Smugglers Trail.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing staff concerns, providing performance feedback and implementing effective HR policies.
- Implement and maintain health safety and sanitation practices to meet and exceed industry standards.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing and vendor relationships to ensure stock levels are adequate and products meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team and Smugglers Trail Management to develop and refine menu offerings based on customer preferences market trends and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze financial and operational reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in a fast-paced multi-concept establishment.
- Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations service standards and the ability to uphold high-quality standards consistently.
- Passion for craft beer, unique coffee expressions and cocktail mixology.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with staff customers and vendors.
- Sound financial acumen to develop budgets analyze financial reports and implement cost control measures.
- Working knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations.
- Quick problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.

**Compensation**:

- Base Salary $70,000 - $80,000 per annum depending on experience, prior performance and qualifications.
- Full company benefits package once probationary period has been satisfied.
- Other bonuses or forms of compensation will be negotiated at time of contract signing.
