Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Culinary Team Leader to join our team at EGG BOMB CAFE. This is a leadership role that requires strong culinary expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

About the Role

This position will oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service. You will be responsible for managing a team of cooks, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered efficiently and consistently. Your exceptional leadership skills will enable you to motivate and train staff to meet the highest standards of performance.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commercial cooking, preferably as an executive chef or sous chef. A passion for creative cuisine, combined with a thorough understanding of food safety and quality control, is essential. The ability to maintain inventory records and manage supplies is also crucial to this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of cooks, providing guidance on menu development, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen.
  • Ensure accurate food costing, inventory management, and ordering of supplies.
  • Train staff in food handling, preparation, and presentation techniques.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and services.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a commercial kitchen setting.
  • An excellent track record of leading teams and achieving results.
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and quality control principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
