Blacksmith Bakery and Bistro is on the lookout for friendly, energetic and experienced Store Manager for our Latimer Village location We are opening for an evening service and introducing a brand new dinner menu curated by our Executive Head Chef and Owner.

We are looking for the best in the hospitality industry to join our team. If you are a team player and have excellent barista and bartending skills, provide inspiring customer service and possess a positive and glowing attitude, then we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Running service and leading the team.
- Ordering/Inventory and some scheduling work (i.e. covering sick calls/labor management etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of Blacksmith Bakery Menu - and upcoming dinner menu.
- Engaging with customers to provide quick and personable positive service experiences
- Staff Training
- During down time, you must also be willing to cover duties like serving pastries, point of sale, order taking and packing, maintenance of a clean and organized work environment, as well as monitoring general front of house needs without being asked._
- Makes all customers feel appreciated and highly valued throughout interactions.
- Follows all Blacksmith Bakery and Bistro recipes and procedures and complete them in a timely manner
- Is reliable and hardworking - arrives on time, ready to crush it
- Maintains an organized and hygienic working environment, clean and restock routinely
- Performs well under pressure while maintaining quality, efficiency and friendly service
- Is an inspiring and accountable team leader
- A café culture guru with amazing people skills
- Loves coffee, latte art, and has a background in coffee knowledge and education.
- Is an engaging personality - positive thinker, and team motivator
- Has strong communication skills, with excellent proficiency in English
- Has leadership skills and the ability to delegate and lead a team through a busy rush.
- Must have weekend availability.

**To be considered, you must possess**:

- The ability to handle the pressure of a busy environment
- The ability to calmly memorize and complete multiple orders at one time
- Finessed latte art skills and an advanced understanding of coffee extraction
- A passion to provide highest quality product and customer experience
- Attention to detail and quick and friendly communication skills
- Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Experience in a shift captain/ managerial role is an asset

Blacksmith Bakery is an artisan bakeshop started in historic Fort Langley, built on the original site of Reid’s blacksmith shop circa 1910. We create real food using traditional artisanal methods, baked fresh daily, on-site, in our open kitchen using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. The hand forged viennoiserie, patisserie, cakes, eclairs, tarts, cookies, savouries, soups and gourmet sandwiches crafted by our passionate team are worth the trip. We love our coffee Our baristas craft the finest range of espresso based coffee drinks using organic beans roasted by local artisanal roasters. We are proud to have four different locations to have our community come to visit us

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
