- **Transitions**_ is looking for a _**Supervisor of Mobile Supports**_ in our Adult Services Program. This Supervisor position is a _**temporary**_ (12 months) Full-Time (36.25 hours/wk) position.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for providing leadership and supervision for Team Leads and Direct Support Professionals.
- Possess a strong understanding of the services provided across all programs.
- Serve as a program ambassador, assuring the range of services offered by Mobile Supports reflects what the person and/or their family is seeking.
- Assist Team Leads with ensuring services provided align with the organizational values.
- Provide support to Team Leads, Direct Support Professionals and associated administrative staff to enable effective staff assignment and service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with team members to recruit, interview and orientate new staff.
- Ensure staffing and other support needs align with each person’s Individual Support Plan.
- Assist a person and/or family to advocate for enhanced funding when it is necessary to address changing support needs.
- Review the “Individual Profile Registry” maintained by PDD to identify potential appropriate intakes to Mobile Supports.
- Develop budgets and service delivery proposals for new or changed services and/or continuation of existing services.
- Provide budgets to the Finance Administrator for review and to the Director for approval.
- Complete Team Lead performance appraisals.
- Complete Direct Support Professional performance appraisal, in collaboration with the appropriate Team Lead.
- Regularly attend scheduled Team and Team Lead meetings.
- Verify practices, procedures and guidelines are being followed to ensure accreditation standards are met.
- Ensure policies, procedures and processes are understood and practiced by team members.
- Ensure the Transitions Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Statements are adhered to personally and amongst the team.
- Understand and support Transitions’ Vision and Mission Statements.
- Be knowledgeable about Transitions framework and have an understanding of the strategic/operational plans that guide the services we provide.
- Be professional, honest and ethical at all times.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety rules and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Supporting Health and Safety**:

- Deal effectively with crisis; assessing the risk and acting accordingly.
- Investigate serious matters and address them immediately.
- Support people to pursue their goals and dreams in both their personal and relationship development.
- Build a rapport with persons supported, family, and staff.
- Encourage self-advocacy, self-determination and opportunities to participate in their community.

**Leadership Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Be inspirational and embrace a culture toward a shared vision.
- Provide a learning environment for colleagues, staff, teams and the community.
- Cultivate collaborative working relationships based on open communication, trust and understanding.
- Support skill development for Team Leads and Direct Support Professionals.

**Qualifications**:

- Five years’ experience in the Rehabilitation or Human Services Field.
- Diploma or degree in related area (e.g. Disability Studies).
- Expertise in a specialize area would be an asset (_e.g. Behavioural Support, Person Centered Planning approaches, Accreditation, Community Building, First Aid and CPR, Medication Administration_).
- The ability to facilitate training sessions in the Rehabilitation field would be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a clear, current Criminal Record Check, which includes vulnerable sector.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.44-$36.11 per hour
