**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Permanent **Business Development Manager**at our Head Quarters in Winnipeg. As a key member of Trapper’s Sales team, the Business Development Manager will be committed to enhancing our client relationships and growing our market share. They will be relied upon to source new business with prospective and existing clients and will instill confidence in our customers that they are dealing with the industry leader.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Seek out business development with new and existing clients.
- Analyze customer needs and present solutions, utilizing a thorough understanding of our service offerings.
- Ensure exemplary customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between customer and operational staff.
- Provide market intelligence regarding competitors and pricing strategies.
- Formulate business plans and strategies to meet business development targets.
- Prepare and negotiate customer sales contracts, communicate contract terms with appropriate internal stakeholders, and record information in company systems.
- Manage and report on sales and revenue metrics, and other related KPIs.
- Manage new customer implementation, manage expectations, and ensure that all agreed services are being delivered.
- Ensure a seamless transition of onboarded customers to account management team.

**Job Requirements**:

- 3+ years of professional sales experience in business development or B2B sales
- Post-Secondary education in Business Management/and or Bachelor of Commerce with courses taken in Sales and/or Marketing considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Proven business development experience in a competitive, demanding business sector
- Previous experience in Transportation/Logistics considered an asset.
- Passion for business excellence with exceptional follow through
- Strong active listening and presentation skills, and the ability to draw parallels between customer needs and company solutions.
- Self-motivated, competitive in meeting targets, and thrives in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment.
- Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract and access to a vehicle.
