**NOTE**:

- This position represents a part-time contract (21 hours per week) for 36 months._

**SCOPE**
Reporting to the Director, Web Communications (UCS), and functionally to the Senior Communications Advisor for the Faculty of Arts & Science, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that realistic time schedules are established and met for projects related to the faculty. The incumbent will schedule and coordinate meetings, create agendas, take meeting notes, and organize project documentation. They may also be required to lead certain meetings. They follow up on action items, assign tasks, and report on task and project statuses. They may also execute other related tasks in collaboration with the project team.

The coordinator works closely with the Web Communications Project Coordinator, the FAS Senior Communications Advisor, Digital Communications Advisors and the Director Web Communications.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Schedule project-related meetings, in collaboration with the Director, web project coordinator and the Senior Communications Advisor, with appropriate stakeholders in line with the project plan.
- Take and organize notes, ensure action items are assigned and communicated, track and report on task progress and milestones.
- Open and track requests in a project management system.
- Liaise with stakeholders both within UCS and across academic and administrative units and ensure ongoing communication among them.
- Create or update simple web content in AEM, when requested.
- Perform other duties in support of the operation of the unit.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (two-year pre-university DEC) and four to seven years of related work experience.
- Very good knowledge (Level 5) of spoken and written English; good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written French.
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint, and best practices in document archiving.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and work autonomously, as well as within a team.
- Ability to learn new systems and software quickly and easily.
- Knowledge of Concordia University or any higher education community is an asset.
- Hands-on experience with web content/ and project management systems is desirable.
