**SCOPE**
Reporting to the Associate Director, Alumni Engagement, the incumbent will lead, manage, and coordinate the development of faculty-based group engagement plans in support of the unit’s philanthropic goals. This will be accomplished by conceiving, implementing, managing and evaluating a variety of alumni engagement strategies with specific and measurable goals in order to build and enhance faculties relationships with its alumni and donors.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop strategic faculty activity plans based on faculty needs and opportunities; identify elements of AR programming that are impactful and important to faculties.
- Design and build program strategy that aligns with UA priorities and high-level faculty and university events.
- Create scalable ways to engage faculty constituents (students/staff/alumni), build connections with key faculty members, create high return on engagement activities and programs.
- Partner with major gift officers to execute a systemic approach to cultivating and stewarding high level alumni and prospects through faculty focused engagement opportunities.
- Track and steward key student groups and student leaders to help feed the student leaders and future volunteer pipeline; identify charismatic alumni with key networks for volunteer engagement and ambassadorial potential. Stay informed on latest research and best practices for constituent engagement.
- Identify, create and cultivate relationships with members of faculty constituent groups and key departments to strengthen alumni giving and philanthropic revenue generation.
- Spearhead the creation of a volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition plan in collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders in order to maximize alumni/volunteer participation in the life of the Faculties; coordinate and highlight the nominations of Faculty alumni to be honoured with alumni awards.
- Develop faculty-based constituent group mentoring, relevant partnerships with professional associations and groups, networking and professional development activities with particular emphasis on creating high-impact opportunities between students and alumni.
- Administer faculty network budget and establish metrics for success based on unit engagement goals; provide regular reports and updates
- Provide training to and oversight of volunteers, committees and boards of faculty constituent groups.
- Ensure relevant contact and stakeholder information is consistently entered on the unit database.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with other university advancement colleagues in support of combined mission and goals; forge relationships with university partners.
- Perform other duties in support of the unit.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of related work experience, previous experience in association or non-profit management, preferably in a University setting.
- Prior experience in the management of volunteers is essential.
- Very good knowledge (Level 5) of spoken and written English and good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken French.
- Good knowledge (Intermediate level) of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills, resourceful and independent, works well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage several high visibility projects simultaneously.
- Capable of working with confidential information; exhibits discretion; welcoming of diverse cultures and constituents.
- Availability to work on weekends and evenings.
- Experience with project planning and management and budgeting is an asset.
