Sales Manager

AUM Hotel group is currently searching for a remarkable **Sales Manager **for our **Hampton Inn **hotel in **Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. **For this position the applicant will be responsible for the total sales efforts and revenue generation.
**Overall Responsibilities**
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the total sales effort of the hotel, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market reach
- Attending trade shows, networking events, developing, and maintaining good
relationships with officials and representatives of local community groups, companies,
and trade organizations, and attending local and out-of-town meetings and conventions
in order to generate sales for the hotel.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to
ensure alignment of sales efforts
- Set sales targets and track performance against goals
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management
**Experience**:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the [industry]
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
- Solid understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
