**Role Overview**:
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets. You will build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders to generate business and promote our hotel as the preferred choice for accommodation in Fort Saskatchewan.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key accounts.
- Conduct sales presentations, site visits, and negotiations to secure group bookings and corporate contracts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to drive sales.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record in sales, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for client meetings and events.
**Schedule**:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (with flexibility for evening and weekend events)
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and industry events
