**REQ# 2023-774 -Accounting Admininstrator**

Reporting to the A/P & A/R Supervisor, the key responsibilities of the Accounting Administrator role include:

- File and purge invoices and related backup.
- Photocopy and scan documents for distribution and retention, following established processes and naming conventions.
- Travel to nearby financial institutions from time-to-time for the purpose of making deposits and paying bills.
- Verify that all related backup for invoices are provided and attached.
- Assist A/P and A/R Representatives with matching cheques to invoices and purchase orders.
- Assist with data entry into the ERP system.
- 2+ years of experience in the residential and/or commercial construction industry is highly desirable.
- Working experience in an A/P and A/R capacity preferred.
- Completion of a diploma or certificate program in Business Administration.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work effective in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with financial accounting systems would be desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team.
