Indigenous Business Development Representative
About This Role:
We are looking for an ambitious, Indigenous Business Development Representative who is great with people, has lived experience within one or more Indigenous communities, and has a keen grasp on new and emerging technology to act as a business development expert to help open doors and establish and maintain valuable business relations with First Nations and Tribal Governments across Turtle Island.

About Our Company:
AIVIA Design and Technology Engineering is the creator of Communikit, a revolutionary mobile communications platform that is thriving in the First Nations, Tribal Council, and NGO sectors. Communikit has had a broad positive social impact, assisting progressive Indigenous leaders in enhancing the quality of life for their community members, both on and off-reserve. Our ultimate mission is to close the well-being gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across Canada.

As we grow, you'll play a key role in achieving significant market milestones both in Canada and North America.
**Requirements**:
- Lived experience within one or more Indigenous communities.
- Broad knowledge of Indigenous history and cultures within Turtle Island (North America).
- Strong understanding of new and emerging technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Smart, driven, reliable, and outgoing personality.
- Willingness to work hard and travel as necessary.
- Ability to contact and set up demos with key decision-makers through various communication channels.
What We Offer:
- Full-time, in-office position in downtown Edmonton.
- Starting salary of $36,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience.
- Opportunity to earn well over $100,000 with no upper limit to compensation.

- Travel as needed to meet with potential clients and demonstrate our platform.
