Our residential key accounts team is on a mission to foster natural gas attachment prospects within the residential new construction high-rise market in the province of Ontario. The team is searching for a maestro in the B2B Sales (preferably with a background in stations engineering, system planning as pertains to new construction) to join this mission and make a difference. In this role **, **you wil **l **lead and manage cross functional teams to ensure seamless natural gas connections for high-rise residential building with compelling value propositions and targeted sales strategies.

**Note: Internally this role is known as
- Specialist, Key Accounts Vertical Subdivision.**

**What you will do**:

- Lead the organization's strategy to serve energy needs of high-rise residential developments.
- Drive revenue and customer satisfaction by monitoring market trends, understanding of customer requirements and aligning of strategies to policy changes.
- Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key builders and developers across the province. Understand customer needs, develop tailored account plans, and coordinate internally to ensure seamless customer connections.
- Work closely with regional construction teams to develop customer metering and station solutions, including innovative approaches to meet the unique needs of high-rise projects.
- Implement advocacy strategies to position natural gas as the preferred energy solution for high-rise developments, ensuring exceptional customer service and partnership with builders and developers.
- Provide strategic insights on regulatory rate structures affecting high-rise buildings. Advocate for optimal rate solutions that support increased natural gas adoption.
- Deliver on DSM program sales targets specifically tailored to the residential new construction market, promoting energy efficiency and sustainable solutions.
- Provide accurate market outlooks and forecasts. Offer strategic recommendations to support implementation of annual sales targets for assigned high-rise accounts.

**Who you are**:
Required:

- University degree preferably in Engineering or related field along with 7+ years of directly related experience.
- Strong understanding of the new construction markets, particularly in high-rise residential projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, and strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and project management skills with the ability to lead multiple internal and external parties/partners.

**Preferred**:

- Professional Engineer, MBA is as asset
- Related Distribution optimization Engineering, Regional construction, Demand Side Management, or relevant energy conservation industry experience.
- Familiarity with building science, building codes, and standards
- Exceptional track-record of collaborating with municipal government authorities.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

**Working Conditions**:
Travelling approximately 50% of the time is required, including overnight, mainly within Ontario. A valid Ontario G class driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required. Evening and weekends as required for event participation.
