**Property Manager - NCC Portfolio**

Inside Edge Properties is looking for a Property Manager to exclusively support our National Capital Commission (NCC) portfolio of properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to work closely with a federal Crown Corporation. The NCC provides unique value in the Capital Region by fulfilling three specific roles: long-term planner of federal lands, principal steward of nationally significant public places, and creative partner committed to excellence in development and conservation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise directly with clients and tenants to ensure their requirements are met.
- Establish and maintain property management services standards for the portfolio, focusing on long range planning, service benchmarking, strategic vendor relationships, as well as energy management and sustainability.
- Implement service contracts for the portfolio and negotiate financial and legal terms to achieve best value.
- Troubleshoot and resolve building issues.
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on multiple facets of the portfolio.
- Develop an annual portfolio-wide budget as well as a long term capital plan.
- Implement policies and procedures for property management operations including customer relations.
- Monitor budgets and coordinate construction projects as required to maintain the portfolio to the best possible standard.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to determine issues, identify solutions, make recommendations, and implement decisions.
- Provide direction to building operators, assistant property manager, and property administrator, including overseeing workload, conducting performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in a related field such as Real Estate Management, Business, Accounting, Facility Management, or an acceptable combination of experience, education and/or training.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial real estate setting dealing with commercial property management or operations.
- Experience leading teams of 3 - 5 people.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and operations including security and life safety, HVAC, elevators, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance.
- Strong focus on customer service, with skill in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Strategic thinker with the initiative to improve property management services.
- Proven leadership skills to provide direction, motivation, and mentorship for property management staff.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment as well as individually to meet tight deadlines despite changing priorities.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and SharePoint).
- Proficiency with Yardi is an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
- Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset.
- Must be able to obtain Reliable Security Clearance.
