**Administrative Assistant (Permanent, Full Time 37.5/week) - Richmond, BC**

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide a range of administrative, organizational and analytical support to designated department within the agency. Using your strong interpersonal skills, you will provide exceptional front-line administrative support and information service, information, and general advice to community members about the Society. In addition, you will work in partnership with other administrative staff by performing a wide range of functions for the department staff.

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Maintaining electronic files, scanning and attaching documents into our database, complying with best practices and corporate standards.
- Maintaining electronic databases, tracking and reporting statistical data, maintaining office equipment, and problem solving any related administrative issues.
- Coordinate in conjunction with Administrative Team, meetings, events and trainings including staff enrolment, bookings, technology needs, catering and other materials and services required by the facilitator.
- Drafting agendas and minute-taking.
- Acquiring external/internal documentation as required per department needs.
- Providing administrative support and coverage across agency service departments.
- Sort and distribute mail and package delivery, maintain inventory and distribution of office supplies.
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Liaise with facilities management and office equipment vendors.

**YOUR CAPABILITIES**:

- Minimum two (2) years’ relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills.
- Proficient with computers and related technology.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
- Strong communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position.
