The Head Office for **Charm Diamond Centres **(CJ Limited) is looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time **Payroll & Benefits Administrator **at our location in Dartmouth, NS.
Operating over 80 stores from coast to coast, CJ Limited is the largest independently owned Canadian Jewellery Company and a Platinum Member of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. **Required Skills**:
- Basic Payroll or Accounting education/experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Dedicated to providing outstanding service
- Effective and friendly oral and written communication style
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Organized and detail-oriented
**Responsibilities**:
- Preparing bi-weekly payroll processing for 800+ employees
- Group Benefit, Pension, and Workers' Compensation administration
- Processing new hires and maintaining employee files
- Processing terminations and preparing ROEs
- Assisting and answering inquiries from store managers
- Vacation tracking
- Ensuring payroll compliance across the country
- Journal entries and monthly reconciliations
- Preparation of T4s and year-end processes
