**Full Job Description - Project and Safety Administrator**
Conform Works Inc. is looking for a strong administrator to join our team as a Project and Safety Coordinator.
Conform Works is a family-owned and operated concrete formwork company working in the Calgary area for over 20 years.
**Summary**
Our Project and Safety Coordinator will work closely with our operations, project management and accounting departments to positively influence the business in Human Resources, Safety, and Project Coordination. This position is a blend of administrative duties.
**Tasks**
- Support project management, operations, and accounting departments as needed.
- Creation of job ads, screening talent, scheduling interviews, and facilitating new hire orientations
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files and relevant electronic data files
- Perform in-house training or contract external trainers
- Track and assist in new hire/90 day and annual performance review process
- Provide support and backup to payroll administrator when needed
- Collaborate with other departments to produce regular reports to successfully administer HR & Safety functions
- Maintain online safety program
- Coordinate Safety Meetings
- Ensure the federal, provincial, and local safety laws and regulations are followed
- Assist in maintaining all OH&S mandatory records up to date
- Maintain health and safety programs and training records for all employees
- Maintain inspection reports, meeting minutes, monthly walk-around, risk assessments, accident/incidents/near misses, and health and safety communications
- Monitor all safety data and reports and recommendations to Management
- Other ad-hoc projects as assigned
**Required Education**
- Diploma/Certificate in Business, Office Administration, or related field
- HSA certification (preferred)
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in construction industry will be considered an asset.
- Experience with online safety platform is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
