Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Social Media & Community Coordinator** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications, the Social Media & Community Coordinator is responsible for the execution of a social media strategy across all relevant social platforms to create an effective and responsive social media presence for Flair Airlines. This role will act as an ambassador and work collaboratively with various stakeholders and team members to generate superior customer engagement and brand awareness.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Social Media and Community Coordinator **include:

- Produce social media campaigns by coordinating content creators, contributors, ambassadors, and partners.
- Curate content from multiple sources, and adapt it for our channels and those of our partner’s purposes.
- Develop content calendars, executes social media strategies, and report on results.
- Day-to-day management of our social communities, including monitoring and responding to community member queries, responses, complaints, etc.
- Develop, execute and manage paid social media plans recommending the most effective use of monthly social ad spend budgets and adjusting accordingly.
- Perform in-depth analysis of organic and paid analytics data and effectively communicate results against established KPIs.
- Stay constantly up to date on the latest trends and strategies in social media and social paid media

**Safety Duties, Accountabilities, Authorities, and Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety and actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) program

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public relations or related discipline preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered
- One to three years of experience with B2C social media marketing or content development, with experience managing multiple social media accounts is required
- Perfect spoken and written English and demonstrated care for grammar, spelling, and writing mechanics. (French fluency is an asset, but not a requirement)
- A passion for writing effective and inspiring communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as be self-sufficient, initiate and complete assigned project tasks
- Have an understanding of the current web and social media landscape and tools with a lens on future trends
- Knowledge of SEO marketing tactics within social platforms
- Effective understanding of social algorithms and how to schedule and leverage content to best suit the goals
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools is a plus
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
