Job Description

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for Sensia Sales via Direct Sales and through Sensia’s Partner Network that achieves revenue projections for Sensia’s Regional Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets, enabling the company’s comprehensive Oil and Gas Digital Strategy to the Industry. This includes but is not limited to selling Sensia’s Solutions and Product Lines which includes all Sensia’s offering in Digital Automation Solution and Services and Connected Products.

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for establishing and building relationships with assigned geography. This role promotes the sale of products and services to assigned accounts and optimizes sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of client activities and plans. This person grows market share and revenue with assigned accounts.

The Regional Account Manager is an Individual contributor role which relies on teaming, collaboration, and direct / indirect influencing to accomplished AOP objectives.

The Regional Account Manager - Roles and Responsibility listed and should not limited activities to be successful and drive Sales direct and with others to achieve AOP goals and targets for Sensia. The role requires the ability to work in an agile environment, with self-direction, and supporting regional goals provide leadership to achieve AOP goals.
- Plan client calls and makes regular client visits to ensure appropriate call coverage of assigned accounts
- Ensure customer problems arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed
- Maintain CRM for accounts, including customer profiling, organizational chart, visit reports, and customer drivers
- Create and action an approved sales plan for assigned account(s)
- Capture customer Product Line and competitor activity in assigned territory
- Identify and qualify all sales leads and opportunities
- Maintain opportunity pipeline in CRM
- Work with management to develop sales goals and coordinate sales plans for promoting existing services and products and introducing new services and products
- Monitor price structure and pricing levels and recommend necessary changes and price increases
- Attend training courses to maintain knowledge of key technologies and competitor offerings and practices
- Provide support for receivables management
- Contribute to cross-Product Line activities
- Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding quota by actively negotiating and bringing opportunities to closure while working with the broader matrixed Sensia sales teams
- Partners and Collaborates with Sales Team on Key Opportunities to attach the full Sensia portfolio of Products, Solutions, and Services
- Manage and lead direct reports to achieve business objectives and goals. Maintain and foster a Professional and healthy work force environment to allow successes for the company and team member
- Generate new account relationships and account development in new markets for Sensia in the accounts and territory
- Ensure complete Customer proposal information; Scope of Work, Commercial Position, Preliminary Technical Solutions are provided to the Sensia Proposal Team. Champion the Proposal accurately meets Customer’s expectations and timing. Work collaborative with Proposals to ensure a positive outcome from the Customer to benefit Sensia to close
- Provide formal regular status reports to sales management which include forecast, pipeline, and activity summary information. Monitor & report revenue and pipeline results weekly via CRM tool for assigned Accounts, Partners, and Geographies to ensure performance goals are met

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or relevant Industry experience
- 5+ years’ experience
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
- Be a Team Member, Collaborator, and able to work in a Teams environment
- General pre-sales, direct sales or consulting experience Familiarity with supply chain concepts, Production, logistics, Operational flow and interaction with IT /OT and Production / Operations Leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Petroleum Engineering
- General Oil and Gas Industry experience in Production and Operations work processes
