The Strategic Services Division oversees, manages, and supports the ministry's complex large-scale, cross
- ministry transformation initiatives as well as supports ministry executive and staff in setting, tracking, and communicating the course of the ministry’s strategic direction.

The division is comprised of four branches - Project Management; Transformation Implementation; Change Management; and Strategic Planning and Communications —each created to deliver on and support the priorities outlined in the ministry's Strategic Framework to advance ministry transformation, and to provide ministry project planning, change management, strategic planning, reporting, communications, and engagement coordination services.

Led by the Executive Director, Portfolio Project Management, the Ministry’s centralized project management office provides strategic leadership, project management coordination and expertise through the management of business transformation projects. The Portfolio Director leads and directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of major long-term projects which cross organizational boundaries and have a broad scope of impact. This involves overseeing sub-projects and multiple delivery components to successfully deliver on high profile initiatives.

**Job Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree in business administration, public administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience including coordination of resources, project teams, and budgets.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior management role leading new business development projects and/or business transformation projects involving a diverse range of project portfolios.
- Minimum of 3 years experience establishing collaborative relationships with senior leaders and leading organizational change associated with implementation.
- Minimum of 3 years experience leading and coaching multi-disciplinary senior level professionals and/or managers in the development and implementation of complex projects.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in strategic business planning, contract management, financial management, and leading multi-party negotiations.
- Must be qualified to complete the Project Management Professional Designation within 1 year of commencement.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Related experience in the public sector or project management.
- Advanced training in Change Management.
- Advanced training in Project Management.
