**Current Opportunity**:
Our growing and innovative specialty pharmaceutical compounding laboratory is looking to hire a Receiving Clerk to join our growing team. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the initial inspection, processing, and management of incoming shipments - ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely entry into our inventory management systems. The Receiving Clerk will also handle the organization of materials and assist in inventory management tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring items are undamaged and correspond with purchase orders. Utilize inventory management software to record and track received goods and manage payment records.
- Perform batch receiving tasks to ensure each item is properly logged, making it easily locatable and accounted for within our inventory.
- Responsible for the efficient disposal of packaging materials, including skids and cardboard, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Accurately input data regarding chemicals and devices, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.
- Prepare specific equipment and materials for use, including cleaning and disinfecting items as per standard operating procedures, and organizing them for easy access.
- Facilitate the movement of goods within the facility, ensuring that materials are stocked appropriately and accessible to relevant departments.
- Participate in inventory audits and updates, employing both manual and software tools to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
- Manage the return process for damaged or defective items, coordinating with suppliers to ensure replacements or refunds are processed efficiently.
- Assist in the procurement of necessary chemicals and devices, ensuring the timely availability of materials required for operations.
- Maintain organization within storage areas, ensuring items are stored in a manner that facilitates efficient retrieval and maintains quality.
- Utilize barcode systems for inventory management, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and tracked.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding order discrepancies or missing items to resolve issues promptly.
- Update and maintain accurate records in inventory management and tracking systems, including Google Sheets or equivalent platforms.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Receiving Clerk or similar role, with a focus on inventory management, order processing, and logistics.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., Zoho Inventory, PK software) and basic office software (e.g., Google Sheets).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and recording inventory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and team members.
- A commitment to safety procedures and guidelines in handling materials and equipment.
