Posh Properties is a short-term real estate management group specializing in rental arbitrage and short-term rentals. Posh Properties is currently seeking a full-time, experienced maintenance technician to join our team. As a Home Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of short term rentals. You will be responsible for performing a range of maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance, to ensure the safety, functionality, and comfort of homes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular inspections of homes to identify and address any maintenance issues or potential hazards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to keep home systems and equipment in optimal condition.
- Respond promptly to management requests for repairs or maintenance issues, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, and other home systems to identify the root cause of issues.
- Repair or replace defective components, parts, or fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including filter replacements, system checks, and inspections, to minimize future issues and extend the lifespan of home systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and associated costs.
- Collaborate with homeowners and communicate effectively to ensure their understanding of maintenance requirements and any recommended repairs or upgrades.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to home maintenance to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times to protect yourself, homeowners, and the property during maintenance activities.
- Assist with renovations as needed for newly acquired properties.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of home systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in home maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough inspections and accurate record-keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with management and address their concerns.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet management needs is a must.
- Flexibility to accommodate management schedules and occasional availability for emergency repairs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to them rigorously to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsabilités:

- Effectuer des tâches de maintenance courantes, telles que le nettoyage, la lubrification et les réparations mineures, pour maintenir en bon état les systèmes et équipements résidentiels.
- Répondre rapidement aux demandes de gestion pour des réparations ou des problèmes de maintenance, et hiérarchiser les tâches en conséquence.
- Dépanner et diagnostiquer les problèmes électriques, de plomberie, de chauffage, de climatisation et d'autres systèmes résidentiels afin d'identifier la cause profonde des problèmes.
- Réparer ou remplacer les composants, pièces ou installations défectueux à l'aide des outils et techniques appropriés.
- Effectuer des tâches de maintenance préventive, telles que le remplacement des filtres, les vérifications des systèmes et les inspections, afin de minimiser les problèmes futurs et de prolonger la durée de vie des systèmes résidentiels.
