Under the supervision of Electrical Supervisor - Surface Services, and working in a safe, unique and motivating environment, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations. Your main duties will be:
- Perform maintenance, calibration, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of equipment such as 4160/600/240/120volt motor control centers, variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, measuring instruments (level, flow, pressure, density, analysis, etc.) and control valves.
- Participate in the improvement and optimization of various systems to increase production performance and equipment reliability in addition to standardizing or improving safety and working conditions.
Your profile:
- College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology - Automation and Control, Industrial Electronics Technology, or equivalent.
- Five years experiences in plant maintenance in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Strong experience in electrical distribution, motor control centers
- C license.
- Autonomy, initiative, ingenuity, precision, resourcefulness, and ability to work in a team.
What we offer:
- Work shifts of 11 hours per day.
- Rotation schedule of 50/50: equivalent to 3 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave; and 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 3 weeks of leave. If a Raglan Mine employee is selected to fill this position, he will have the opportunity to maintain his current work schedule.
- Private air transport is provided from Montreal, Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli or Inuit communities (depending on place of residence) to the mine site and return.
