The Hoisting Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing customer focused marketing communications plans, project management, operations, and execution of product launches, theme-based campaigns and sales enablement assets for the growing Business Line (BL) Hoisting, focused on the mining sector globally. The manager is responsible for developing and executing content marketing and marketing automation programs that align with Go-to-market strategies and support product-led growth in the exciting and rapidly evolving areas of mine hoist solutions, playing a key role in making the mining industry more efficient and hence more sustainable. These programs will strengthen the ABB brand and market positioning externally, and effectively communicate about key strategic initiatives internally. The manager also collaborates with product group teams for portfolio alignment across industry segments; as well as regional and country communication managers for global campaign activation in targeted markets. This position works closely with the product management teams, product groups, product marketing and solution experts to identify growth opportunities and integrate them into the marketing communications strategy.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Strategy, planning and implementation: Develop and implement an innovative integrated marketing communications strategy to educate and inform key stakeholders including customers, employees, trade media, industry associations and others about the value of ABB in mining, specifically in the space of hoisting.
- Partner with the regional/country marketing and sales leaders to agree on joint lead generation KPIs and establish a process where leads are followed through the sales pipeline. Use the martech stack to drive better customer insights and digital strategies. Communicate insights with the BL sales team
- Collateral/Content creation: Plan and develop impactful sales collateral that clearly articulates value propositions and content around industry pain points across the BL product portfolio. Monitor key customer issues and emerging market trends, and create new messaging and content where needed.
- Product launches and campaigns:Develop and manage launch, productization and nurturing processes for product launches - in collaboration with product group marketing communication managers - to build market awareness and brand favorability.
- Hands-on execution: Execute marketing communications campaigns across all identified marketing tactics and tools, including writing and publishing of articles. Use these tools to generate leads and gain market insights required to identify growth opportunities - feed this information back to sales.
- Events & conferences - virtual and in-person: Plan, coordinate and execute event and conferences strategy for the BL
- Thought leadership/Media relations: Develop and execute a media and PR strategy to increase share of voice and visibility of the ABB brand across broad channels including business and trade media, blogs, podcasts and broadcast.
- Internal communications: Develop regular employee communication activities cultivating sense of community, understanding of the new processes, roles and responsibilities within the BL organization, acceptance of change as well as collaboration between all division stakeholders.
- Budget: Own the budget for BL marketing communications programs and ensure budget alignment with quarterly cost tracking
- Use agreed metrics to show value creation and measure success
**Your background**:
- 3-5+ years of marketing or marketing communications experience in a B2B environment (prefer technical/ industrial environment)
- Experience in niche marketing (preferable, but not mandatory)
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading capabilities are mandatory
- Results focused with strong analytical skills
- Strong background in digital marketing
- Must be a self-starter and a strong networker with strategic thinking capabilities and a hands-on approach to translate plans to actions and monitor and report progress
- Strong team player with influential and change management skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several large projects at any given time
