**Regional Marketing Communications Manager, Americas**:

In this role you will be responsible to drive Marketing Communications activities within the Americas region with a dedicated plan that contributes to the local strategic priorities, cascades and adapts where needed global initiatives, collaborates with the global business line and division marketing & communication teams to strategic projects. Reporting into the Global Marketing & Communications Manager for Business Line Excitation, the person will work side by side with the Regional Manager for Americas to define and plan the most relevant initiatives for the region.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Propose and implement marketing communication plans validated by Marketing Communications Manager/line managers in line with the global marketing & communications strategy, the regional priorities, and the available budget. Report activities quarterly and measure performances according to globally and locally agreed KPIs
- Generate leads via webinars, advertising, sponsorships, and any other relevant technique, using the web as a hub for integrated marketing communications. Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop targeted campaigns that support business priorities. Localize global digital marketing campaigns when applicable
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to plan, design and activate multi-channel digital marketing campaigns. Collaborate with sales to maximize campaigns conversion rate
- Plan and perform local sales enablement activities, such as internal webinars, internal sales events, and the like to ensure regional sales are up to date with the latest initiatives, campaigns, product launches. Cascade global initiatives and campaigns when applicable. Support relevant indirect sales activities for the region
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to create promotional materials for use in various media. Localize global marketing material and adapt to local market needs where legally required or based on specific growth initiatives. Develop market specific marketing assets on a selective base
- Organize ABB owned and third-party events and exhibitions to support business and in compliance with ABB brand guidelines. Collaborate with internal and external resources to maximize investment in event participation. Report event performances based on agreed KPIs and ensures traceability over Salesforce. Manage event budget
- Collaborate with global and local media agencies to nurture relationship with relevant trade media
- Collaborate with relevant functions to keep track of competitors’ marketing and communications activities, trends, and initiatives
- Maintain a positive and integrated network in internal and external communication communities to promote knowledge of current practices and innovation.

**Your background**:

- Degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years in marketing and communications in engineering multinational company
- Intermediate user of Salesforce, proficient user of Pardot/Account Engagement
- Capability to work across countries and cultures
- Availability to travel (10%)
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- English and French native speaker or full professional proficiency, Spanish language as a plus
