Coordinator, Service

**Job Purpose**:
Administrative position that focuses on labor allocation and ensuring work orders are correct - both in Company’s internal systems and in customer systems. This position coordinates, monitors and improves field service activities for WPCE. Ensure services are effective and customer requirements are being met.
***Essential Functions**:
- Assist customers with their repair and service needs and provide exceptional customer service to promote the continued growth of the business.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage. Explain provisions and exclusions to customers
- Keep customers and technicians informed of the status, cost of repairs and timeline for completion
- Communicating with Service Manager and technicians to understand maintenance and repair needs on company and customer equipment
- Prepare service estimates for repairs and preventative maintenance plans
- Create, track, review and close work orders
- Schedule technician’s workload to maximize efficiency
- Maintain Customer and Supplier Relations
- Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries; Assist in delivering required training to ensure that all coworkers have the necessary skills to perform their jobs properly and safely.
- Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal & external).
- Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Companywide policies to eliminate and/or reduce exposure to liability.
- Special projects or work as assigned.
- Track rental fleet pickups and returns, upcoming rental fleet certs that are expiring, and upcoming service jobs.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Order service parts and verify correct pricing for invoicing
- Order Shop Fluids such as Diesel (WOA FUEL), Hydraulic Oil (OIL-ALL), etc., as needed.
- Process all part returns: As Needed

**Qualifications Guidelines**
**Experience/Training/Education**:
**Required**:High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced computer skills required - MS Excel, Word, Outlook. Ability to work with little supervision and adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
**Desired**:Bachelor’s degree or Vocational training in mechanical, hydraulic and / or electronic assembly.
**Pay range**: $27-$36 Depending on Experience
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:
**Physical and Environmental Elements**:
This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, typewriter keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment. The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports and records that typically weigh less than 20 pounds.
