**Business Services Coordinator - OK Tire Corporate Office, Surrey BC**
If you have a passion for event management and keeping everyone organized this may be the role for you Working as part of the Business Services team your primary responsibility will be the coordination of travel and in-person and virtual events. In addition, you will provide administrative support within the Business Services department.
- **Business Services Support**:_
- Gather event details from key stakeholders.
- Contact hotels to gather proposals for events.
- Coordinate all meeting logistics including hotel bookings, meeting room bookings, menu planning and audio visual needs.
- Coordinate professional invitations to events.
- Coordinate virtual events using Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
- Maintain a calendar of company events.
- Review and reconcile charges for events.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to support travel needs.
- **General Support**:_
- Provide additional support as required to meet deadlines.
- Assist with coordination of Annual Conference.
**Competencies/Qualifications**
- 1 - 2 years direct experience overseeing travel and events for a multi-faceted organization.
- 2 to 3 years business administration experience.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office software suites.
- Time management, problem solving and professional communication skills.
- Strong aptitude for utilizing technology and apps to coordinate events.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating & managing Webinars in Teams or similar virtual platforms.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing technology to create and distribute professional looking meeting invitations that include event dates/details to a wide audience.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- High attention to detail. Organized and methodical in all duties.
- Team player; works well within a group environment but can also self-manage and work independently.
- Mature and dependable to complete responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business contacts.
- Ability to travel & or attend events as/when required.
- Able to respect confidentiality requirements.
