Jim Pattison Hyundai Surrey has a new opportunity for a full-time Service Coordinator to join our team

**Job Description Summary**:
Reporting to the Service Manager you will be passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience for our clients. The Service Coordinator is responsible for greeting all service customers, directing them to the appropriate team members while providing an exceptional customer experience for our clients.

**Responsibilities**:
Our Service Coordinator is responsible for providing our customers with a welcoming first impression while completing the following duties:

- Answering calls and returning missed calls promptly and courteously.
- Attend and complete training courses directed by management.
- Taking payments from customers, issuing receipts, and closing work orders.
- Submit warranty claims and create cases as per Hyundai Canada's policy and guidelines.
- Maintain service appointment system and assist the service department by performing clerical or secretarial tasks.

**Education and Experience**:

- Previous Customer Service experience is considered an asset.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with CDK System an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills with positive and courteous telephone etiquette.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task without compromising on quality.
- Extremely dependable and punctual.
- Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with both co-workers and our guests.
- Data entry skills.
